Sample Itinerary

Every trip is customized, but a typical itinerary may look something like this:

Arrival in Galápagos, transfer to your hotel, visit El Chato Giant Tortoise Reserve and explore the lava tunnels.

Choose one of the following experiences on Isabela Island, depending on your interests and fitness level:

Horseback Riding Along the Rim of Sierra Negra Volcano
Enjoy a scenic horseback ride through the highlands of Isabela while taking in spectacular views of Sierra Negra Volcano and the surrounding landscape.

Sierra Negra Volcano Viewpoint Hike

A shorter and easier hiking option that takes visitors to the first viewpoint of Sierra Negra Volcano, where they can admire one of the largest volcanic calderas in the world.

Sulfur Mine Tour

Explore colorful volcanic landscapes, sulfur deposits, fumaroles and fascinating geological formations while learning about the volcanic history of Isabela Island.

Additionally, I believe it would be beneficial to mention that, besides the sample 8-day itinerary, we also offer customized 10 and 12-day programs for travelers who wish to enjoy a more complete Galápagos experience.
